Sharp Shooting Champion Collects His Steed

After fighting off tough competition and demonstrating his sharp shooting skills in the 2013 Clay Shooting Championships, Jason Duncton was presented with his magnificent prize of a Great Wall Steed Chrome.

Having been into game and clay shooting from a very early age, Jason had more recently taken a back step from the sport and previous to his win hadn’t competed in any registered shoots for over 5 years. When he qualified at the Sussex Country Fair, his next competitive shoot at the Midland came as a bit of a surprise. Of his tremendous win Jason says: “After having a bit of time off from shooting it took me by complete surprise to have gone all the way to win. It was only after a few drinks with close friends that I decided to have a go – to qualify, compete in the final and then win is absolutely amazing!”

Arriving at Great Wall head office with wife Sonia, Jason was overjoyed to be awarded his prize. Greeted by Great Wall representatives, Managing Director Paul Hegarty presented the Steed Chrome in all its finery; complete with bespoke decals showcasing Jason’s achievement.

The Great Wall Steed has built an enviable reputation as Britain’s best value pick-up, perfect for the outdoors with selectable 4 wheel drive, 2.5t towing capacity and 1050kg payload. All Steed models are extensively equipped with leather upholstery, individually heated front seats, 16” alloy wheels and Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone connectivity.
